Do you fear Aliens?

Has anyone here had an encounter with aliens, either personal or a friend telling you about it? I have seen space ships several times, but was never left with a sense of fear. I have never seen an alien (other than depictions in Roswell, NM) I have seen a ship from a close proximity.

If you do fear aliens, why? Is it a sense or from what you have read or seen in the media?

Well, no, unless the guy i see in the mirror qualifies, i haven't seen any aliens. And i doubt that i'd fear them... i love Michael Rennies quote from The Day The Earth Stood Still... "I am fearful when I see people substituting fear for reason."

I think that right now we are being flooded with information from so many places about how aliens are possibly going to attack us. Stephen Hawkings even hopped on that wagon. Perhaps it is simply a diversion of what governments knows is going to happen. Get us to focus on alien encounters, revelations and the possibility of attack rather than focus on what is going on behind the curtain.

if aliens were hoping to take over the planet they could just wait a while; the earthlings are doing a great job of destruction as it is.
yeah i was pleased at the first half of s. hawking's statement; "i'm a mathemetician and it's logical"...that's in line with my thinking...but then he figures they would loot and plunder... why assume that? why think they are as low as... you?
i look forward to aliens coming. as far as i'm concerned this is one of the lesser developed planets, so odds are anybody coming here would be an improvemnt. i could use the company. this planet is lonely for me, i rarely feel met/ understood.
they usually figure out what i'm about years after i've left their presence...and i didn't say it, that was an observation made about me.

maybe i fear them.. while i was sleeping ,this was sometime last year, its like i came to just for a moment it happened so fast one said hes awake ,another said how ,the last one was a dentist yeah...well like one any ways. my mouth was open and they were working on one my back teeth trying to pull something out

was it friends of a higher dimension removing an implant?
or me trying to unplug my self from the matrix?

Did you notice any unusual air force activity afterwards? The one time I've seen "alien" craft, there were fighter jets in the area for the next week - in an area where fighter jets are a rarity.

jets are a not that rare around here but i did hear that noise you know when i jet fly's low

That may be the fighter jets chasing them. The craft seem to be much quieter. What I saw was flying too low to not be audible, and had way too many lights spread too wide for "normal" aircraft. They do seem to register on air force radars, and are usually followed. Because I was a long way from any air force base, the fighter jets took until the next day to make their presence felt.

i don't find this to be very credible.. btw

but late at night some nights there is this sound ,sounds like thunder but almost like as if it's a jet passing by at mid altitudes

i've seen people determinedly staring at the ground during the most spectacular sunsets... there's a lot of fear out there, even if they don't understand what it is they fear

I certainly do not fear aliens. I have seen a large craft up close and nothing awful happened. Except that I did not jump the fence and go for a closer look. I especially do not fear Klingons Razz

they are creepy little things aliens.. ive dealt with only dark ones.. but i wasnt scared of them.. they are pretty gutless.. when they see that youve seen them or sensed them they run away like little boys.. there are some that sit behind computers and hover mid air, banging on buttons the whole time.. they are tiny in body and look like us sort of.. and then there are the movie looking ones which is pretty spot on with what they look like.. that big head and eyes..

creepy more than frightening..
